Full Review of Aston’s New DB11 V8, in Volante Drop Top guise! The DB11 is the first product of ‘Second Century’ plan. This car is all NEW: GONE is the ‘VH’ platform, the car is now built upon a new bonded aluminium platform, lighter and stronger: but most importantly now Aston are in a technical Partnership with Mercedes Benz, and now have their hands on the EPIC 4.0 V8 BiTurbo from the AMG GT!! And this V8 Volante version brings big sound, and drama to the already brilliant DB11 formula! The Coupé V8 is said to be “a refined and comfortable GT with a more sporting bias”: so let’s see if the Drop Top can maintain this dynamism!
