Managing assets among clusters of communities, with John McKnight

On-line conversation with John McKnight from ABCD Institute and community & organizational development professionals from Romania, Bulgaria, Guatemala and Nepal. The topic of the events was 'Managing Assets Among Clusters of Communities.' This is the third Periphery Inc. event from a series of talks and workshops in which we are looking to nurture the space for less motivational and inspirational speeches and presentations that are flooding the present events and the on-line content, delivered by well known or emerging professionals. We are looking more on informal and applied discussions among communities of practitioners interested in producing good change in their fields of expertise, each in different phases of their journeys. Through this series of discussions we are interested in the process of desacralizing the world around us, where the focus should be on inter-institutional and inter-disciplinary collaboration and active learning, and not on admiring good quality human beings and professionals from the distance. We are happy to work closely with Community Knowledge Works, while having also the amazing team from the Association for Community Relations (ARC) as friends and partners.
