Last month on the 28th, London finally had the lucky chance of seeing the underrated "Idol Metal" band ‪@BrokenByTheScream‬ whom been killing the game since 2017 with insane music intricacies, that mix Japanese Pop Idol with OG 2000s Deathcore/Metalcore, that make you feel like you got both Myspace and NicoNico tabs open on the same browser ღゝ◡╹)ノ✨ Was an absolute blast hearing their signature 4 vocal layering live in person, mixing highs and lows from Io & Yayoi, with cleans from Tsubaki & Shizuku...tho ngl I felt the harsh vox were overpowering the mix xD My only complaints were that their set time felt a tad bit too short imo (especially since there was no support) and I wished they had played with their full band line-up for a more fuller live experience 🤔 But hey, still had a fun time especially with the energy of the crowd, was deffo tough trying to position myself for a good recording space (apologies on the mic issues too 😅)...oh and still annoyed at the one dude who kept recording with his damn phone cover hanging down 😒 bro could've removed that flap instead of obstructing the view of us short mfs 🧐 Hoping BBTS has more overseas tour opportunities so we can see them again, hopefully in a bigger venue and a full band set up!
