Hey Ho! To The Bottle I Go (At The Green Dragon!) - Irish Folk Version
A couple of my favorite Hobbit drinking songs! I decided to use the chorus from the film version with "Hey Ho!" rather than "Ho Ho Ho" as in the book, because everyone is likely more familiar with the film song. The song is quite short in the book, so I used it as the chorus, and used Merry and Pippin's Green Dragon song for the verses. The third verse ("under a tall tree I will lie") was an attempt to incorporate the last two lines of the book song. Song generated using Suno and then remixed and edited. The video was made using clips from the films 'The Fellowship of the Ring', as well as 'The Return of the King'. Hope you enjoy!
