I'm aware that this is a scuffed run with many wasted openings due to my inexperience with Hazard Risen Shagaru's combos, but for now this is a no-faint clear which decently showcases this monster's extremely oppressive moveset and Lance's answers to it. I also haven't obtained a 2 faint, 25 minute quest for him yet so 35 minutes it is for now, I think lower time limit also means lower monster HP, but not sure how much less. Heaven-Sent level 1 is great value for the sharpness restoration, as sharpening in this fight requires a long opening. The damage reduction it grants also helps me deal with the forward laser, which at times is unavoidable if I can't Sheathing Retreat to the side in time. The main issue I'm still facing is that I'm not confident Insta-Blocking every part of the triple wing slam into explosions into big slam combo in Risen state. One misstimed parry and I lose Moxie, which I want for the standing big beam in case it hits (it's a OHKO basically). That's why I just dodge everything by using Sheathing Retreat, it's safe but I don't get to follow up after the combo. I've seen insane Lance clears on this fight by players who know all the parries and even dodge the big circle explosion by using the scroll switch evade, I've merely adapted their strategy of proccing Status Trigger via hopping on certain attacks. With better evasion uptime Adrenaline Rush becomes a potent option as well. I guess with some more practice I might get the openings down, but there's still a good amount of rng involved, as certain attacks are much better than others, and sometimes the frenzy explosions get stuck in a wall and just clip me with no way to avoid them. Either way, this is currently the hardest fight in the entire game and it's a (frenzy) blast. I'm aware that double chain-blade dogs with dragon weapons would shave off at least 1-2 minutes with their damage output alone, but I don't want the palamute AI to play the game for me.
