The 2018 Exile Skimboards Oktoberfest went off. A strong South swell, great tides, and progression thrown together in a Crock Pot and slow-cooked to perfection. As the final event on the United Skim Tour, Oktoberfest has become the climactic scene for top pro’s to go for broke. Title races are decided, checks are cashed, and a full year of preparation, blood, sweat and tears are shed in hopes of hoisting the trophy. An incredibly tight points race between Blair Conklin and Lucas Fink came down to Lucas’s semi-final heat. With a surprise early exit from Blair Conklin in the contest, it left the door open for Lucas to take the title. Lucas came up just short in his semi and Blair secured his 3rd United Skim Tour title in a row! Get fired up because the 15th Annual Exile Skimboards Oktoberfest is just around the corner.
