Genesis has extended the wheelbase of the Electrified G80 to enhance rear-seat luxury and create a more comfortable space. Along with this, the ride and handling (R&H) and noise, vibration, harshness (NVH) performance have been meticulously refined, completing a new level of electrified flagship sedan. I took pictures of the new eG80 Geneva Silver. This was my third shoot, and it was not easy to express colors that harmoniously reflected the silver and brown colors of the city of Geneva. GV70 Ceres Blue was also difficult because it showed the beautiful colors of the universe... and this was the same. Genesis' colors are showing off a more luxurious and elegant beauty, making it increasingly difficult to capture them on video. Today’s detail cut is Geneva silver. Have fun :D Details are below. The new "Electrified G80" operates as a long-body model with an increased wheelbase compared to the regular model. Compared to the G80 internal combustion engine, the "Electrified G80" features a long wheelbase, shopper mode, and second-row VIP seats. The characteristic part is “magnificence.” Perhaps because it is a long body, the body feels larger than the existing G80, and the addition of G90-specific wheels and luxurious Geneva silver further doubles the grandeur. The ride quality also had the heaviness of a large luxury sedan, the G90. I filmed it with D-cut, so enjoy it. :D The body size of the new Electrified G80 is 5135mm in length, 1925mm in width, 1480mm in height, and 3140mm in wheelbase, which is 130mm longer than that of the internal combustion engine. In addition, the second-row seat position optimization has secured 995mm, which is 83mm longer than the previous one. 'Chauffeur Mode' maximizes second row ride comfort with brake control hydraulic optimization, torque and suspension setup, while the rear VIP seat supports 16WAY power adjustment, wing-out headrest and comfort stretching of ergo motion seats, including left and right seat backrest reclining. The powertrain is equipped with dual-motor four-wheel drive as standard, with a maximum output of 370 horsepower and a maximum torque of 71.4 kg.m. It is equipped with a fourth-generation 94.5 kWh battery, and the mileage per charge is 475 km based on the Ministry of Industry's certification. In addition, the front and rear wheel bush specifications have been improved to reduce vibration. Active rear wheel steering (RWS) has been introduced to ensure excellent turning radius and steering stability for increased wheel bases. The active sound design has been newly applied, and indoor quietness has been enhanced by increasing the thickness of glass and expanding sound absorption.
