If you aren't a millionaire you probably think you can't travel to Turks and Caicos. Wrong! Camping is free, hitchhiking is easy, and the people are super friendly. We spent week here in January 2022. We only reserved a room the first night, mostly because the immigration authorities will ask you where you are staying, and 'in my tent' likely isn't a great answer to give. Flights from Miami were $80/person, and then our on-the-ground costs were minimal. Affordable on a budget! Go now before it changes!
