Rest in peace peep :( “Little Hell” is a single by Lil Peep, released January 30, 2016. The song was produced by the american producer, John Mello, who produced all of Peep’s Vertigo EP, released 12 days earlier. The song samples a scene from the american movie, Juno. The song is most likely be talking about Gustav at the age of 17, back when he left his hometown (Long Beach, NY) and moved to LA. The song lyrics may be Peep’s part of a dialogue between Peep and his childhood-friend plus ex-girlfriend, Emma Harris. After Peep’s death, his mother Liza claimed that the majority of his songs were talking about Emma, and that he never stopped loving her. Gustav spoke in multiple interviews and songs about hating his hometown, or what he describes as “the shittiest fucking suburbs ever.” In an interview with the american online-magazine, Pitchfork, he spoke about moving to California and said: "I suffer from depression and some days I wake up and I’m like, Fuck, I wish I didn’t wake up. That was part of why I moved to California, trying to get away from the place that was doing that to me, and the people I was around. I realized it was just myself—it’s a chemical imbalance in my brain." Lil peep: / lilpeep / lilpeep #peep #lilpeep
