MEF 3.0 Open LSO APIs & Orchestrated Services

MEF is driving standardization of open LSO APIs that enable orchestration of dynamic MEF 3.0 services across a global ecosystem of automated networks. This video highlights important LSO work underway - including inter-provider API development, MEF & ONAP collaboration, etc. -- and includes perspectives from top service (AT&T, CenturyLink, PCCW Global), technology (CENX, Amdocs), and MEF experts (Technical Director). MEF’s LSO (Lifecycle Service Orchestration) Reference Architecture guides agile development of standardized open LSO APIs that enable end-to-end orchestration of MEF 3.0 services across multiple providers and over multiple network technology domains (e.g., Packet WAN, Optical Transport, SD-WAN, 5G, etc.). LSO enables service providers to transition from a silo-structured BSS/OSS approach towards flexible end-to-end orchestration that helps maximize return on SDN and NFV investments.
