This is my last upload.... As a 27 year old! Yeah I'm doing it again lol. I'm not quitting, it's just my way of saying I am another year older. The big 28 now. Feels weird approaching my late 20s when you really think about it, but in reality I've felt pretty much the same for the last 6 years. Anyway, here's my way of celebrating which is a remake of all week 1 songs from Vs Ace! 27 felt like a filler year if I'm being honest, nothing crazy really happened in my life, and that's not a bad thing. I mean, imagine if a TV show you're watching had zero fillers, and it's just constant edge of your seat. Things would get pretty overwhelming and feel like the pacing is just too fast, so I'm glad I was able to just chill this year. Despite the uneventfulness, it's nice to still be around making music for y'all and being able to live off it, here's hoping I can continue for years to come. For this re-whatever that every modder from 2021 is suddenly doing, I wanted to do just general enhancements and improvements to both the composition and mixing. While my composition was fine and there wasn't necessarily anything wrong with it, I had gripes of how some of the older melodies hit my ear (I'm looking at YOU frostbite intro) so I changed some of them to fit what I'd prefer now. Some people may feel weird hearing these new revisions, and I totally get it. As the person who literally composed these, it was weird to hear these changes too, but I got used to them after a while, and personally I like them more. Especially the mixing. Jesus, I don't know what I was thinking in 2021. Well, I knew what the problem was. I was mixing with headphones that weren't neutral in the slightest, so my mixes suffered greatly. Most people won't be able to hear it, so I'll spare you because once I describe it, it may ruin a lot of my 2021 music for you lol. Anyway this should hopefully be better albeit still not 100% perfect but tbf I'll probably listen back to these 4 years from now and cringe like I'm cringing to my 2021 stuff. Anyway I'm rambling.
