SALAGA MISSIONS 2026 | Bro. Writena Amponsah Experience the journey, the service, and the impact of Salaga Missions 2026, led by Bro. Writena Amponsah, as the gospel was taken to the northern part of Ghana through preaching, medical support, and humanitarian outreach. The mission journey began with a departure from Takoradi, landing at Kotoka International Airport, and then continuing by air to Tamale. From Tamale, the team traveled by road through the northern landscape, finally arriving at Salaga, ready for the work ahead. Mission Activities & Highlights The work officially began in the morning at the Salaga Municipal Hospital, where care, encouragement, and fellowship were extended. The team also visited some important historical sites in Salaga, reflecting on the town’s rich history and its role in Ghana’s past. On Thursday, 12th February 2026, the team visited the prison to preach the gospel of hope and salvation. This outreach included: Health screening for inmates Sharing of drinking water Distribution of refreshments Donation of essential items to the prison It was a powerful moment of compassion, reminding the inmates that they are not forgotten. On Friday, 13th February 2026, the mission continued with a journey to KRUPI, where the gospel program took place. The atmosphere was filled with teaching, encouragement, and fellowship, both during and after the program. From there, preparations were made for KAYARESU, where school uniforms were distributed to children, bringing joy to families and hope to the community. Additional moments from KAYARESU captured the impact of this outreach, including a special visit to little Moses. After successfully completing all mission activities, the team returned safely to Takoradi. One of the unforgettable experiences was the calm and fair temperature of the North, which accompanied the mission throughout the journey.
