Writing Class is a science fiction short story by Robert Sheckley first published in 1952, not long after he himself graduated from New York University. Robert Sheckley (1928-2005) rapidly became a successful author of Science Fiction and, later, Suspense. He enjoyed a long career with over a hundred short stories and a brace of novels to his name. I don't think I have read anything by him that I did not like. No background music, by popular demand. Only my voice, croaks, wheezes, and all.
