It’s Sunday, The 25th of January and I’m at Bowes Park which is located on the Hertford Loop line, with the station being managed and served by Great Northern with services from Moorgate to Stevenage, but due to engineering works taking place on the East Coast Mainline, services were diverted over the Hertford Loop. Just beyond the station is a Headshunt siding used by Empty Stock workings to reverse into Bounds Green Depot or London King’s Cross.
