Sunrise hike to Delicate Arch - Arches National Park - Moab, Utah

Hike Date - 10/24/2020 Join us on our three-mile out-and-back sunrise hike to Delicate Arch at Arches National Park in Utah. We have found the best time to take the hike is before sunrise. We started the hike at around 5:30 am, and in the dark, it takes a little planning and paying close attention to where you are going as the trail isn't very well marked and can be dangerous. However, the payoff is worth it. Sara has conquered more fears in the past three years than I ever imagined. She has a very strong fear of heights, cliff edges, and drop-offs. We've done this hike several times and this is the first time she pushed those fears to the side and made it over to and under this beautiful delicate arch. Heading out early means fewer people to deal with (but as you can see there will always be plenty of people at the arch even in the early morning) and you can beat the heat of the day. Plus, the sun coming up behind the arch makes it an amazing sunrise to see. Make sure you carry plenty of water for each person no matter when you go! We hope to meet you along the road!
