I had originally filmed and partially edited this video in April and then got distracted by my many different artistic pursuits - woops :) Better late than never? I love alternative-style photography techniques and finding new ways to capture images outside of a traditional camera. This one is super easy and accessible to anyone with a scanner bed (including on a printer) and computer. In this video, I go over my process for collecting botanicals to photograph, how I got started, some history of the process, tools, and ideas - everything I could think of that would help a beginner get started.
