I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City after a 17-hour bus ride… but here’s the funny part: I didn’t film the journey at all — because I slept the entire time. I even dreamed that I was filming the vlog, so technically part of this trip only exists in my dreams. Apparently, that’s where I create my best content. 😅 In this vlog, I explore the historic Independence Palace, wander through a park I randomly discovered, try Vietnamese street food, and face one of the most questionable food experiences of my life: fertilized duck egg (balut). Spoiler: I will not be eating that again. I welcomed the New Year in the streets of Ho Chi Minh City — surrounded by heat, chaotic traffic, unexpected human connections, and the strange freedom that comes with living on the road. Sometimes the best part of traveling is simply sitting somewhere and watching people pass by. Maybe I really came into this life as an observer.
