We went to the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen. 🇩🇪 The highlight of the museum is the accessible reconstruction of the LZ-129 Hindenburg. She was built by Luftschiffbau Zeppelin GmbH and operated by Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei. The airship was in operation for just 14 months. She was destroyed in the Hindenburg disaster that occurred on the 6th of May 1937. The LZ-129 Hindenburg caught fire and was destroyed during its attempt to dock with its mooring mast at Naval Air Station Lakehurst. 13 passengers and 22 crewmen died in the accident.
