This Soul Riff performance took place inside an abandoned warehouse in New York City. Empty walls, dust in the air, cold floors, and light cutting through tall windows. We set up in the middle of a space where nothing had happened for a long time. The guitar stayed dry and open, the bass held heavy ground, the drums echoed dull and deep, and the keys brought warmth into concrete and steel. Blues without decoration — music that doesn’t try to hide anything. In the creative process, SOUL RIFF uses artificial intelligence as a tool — a way to shape ideas, imagination, and musical vision. AI is not the subject of this project, but one of the instruments used to build atmosphere, visuals, and narrative.
