Sally ho, chaps. Apparently, it's the first time I translated a Sally song into English as well as into Russian, though I did that a couple of times before only for Russian. To be totally honest, I'm not really into such types of music, though I have to admit - guys from Sally know how to make it interesting. And lyrics are always pretty open for interpretation. Mentioning interpretation, my Russian and English translations usually (if not always) have some slight differences in how I interpret the meaning. It's more like when you can write the same thing in a couple of ways, I pick one for English, and something else for Russian. Topic for this song is sufficiently explained by its title, which is unusual for Sally ("Plaza Roboscape", what's that supposed to mean, right?). In short - being addicted to someone. As for the question, who's being addicted to who - it remains relatively open. The original is the DDC's extra stage theme, which can be attributed either to Raiko or to Tsukumo sisters. And at the first thought, none of them canonically really have someone they'd want to forget, yet they couldn't. The only thing that comes to mind in that regard, is that all of them are tsukumogami - "things" that became alive, and Raiko as a drum was still used quite frequently. This song may relate to it, but it's a pretty long shot if you ask me. On the other hand, it could be just another melancholic song out there, with no particular canon foundation. It's not like we don't have a bunch of those lying around. So you may ponder a bit on this topic, if you want. And I'll be off working on something completely else. Have a nice day.
