Here we chase CN Q116 with IC 1011 on the point. Its been many years since a IC SD70 has led a train in western Canada making this a real treat. We start the video with 116 absolutely hustling into the town of Stoney Plain, AB on CNs Edson Sub. The nearby detector announced the speed of the train at 61mph. We then fast forward a few hours and 116 is finally departing Edmonton on the Wainwright Sub after a block swap, crew change, and refueling as they tackle the hill into Barker (previously known as Ardrossan). RTC planned a meet between 116 and 119 at Uncas we see 116 ease their way for the meet. The crews then have a bit of a hilarious conversation. We end the chase some 50 miles to the east in the hamlet of Bruce as 116 highballs their way towards Wainwright and eventually their destination in Chicago.
