BIG Terror Attack Foiled: Delhi Police Busts ISIS Terror Plot to Bomb South Delhi Mall on Diwali

A major terror attack planned for Diwali has been foiled by the Delhi Police Special Cell. Two alleged ISIS operatives, both named Adnan, were arrested from Delhi’s Sadiq Nagar and Bhopal after coordinated intelligence operations. Officials say the duo had conducted recce of a popular South Delhi mall and a public park, aiming to trigger explosions on Diwali to cause mass casualties. Police recovered a makeshift timer device, photos of target locations, and a video in which the suspects pledged allegiance to ISIS. According to investigators, both accused were radicalised online and were receiving guidance from foreign handlers for a possible suicide-style operation. The crackdown is part of a larger investigation that has uncovered an ISIS-inspired module operating across multiple states. Links to Pakistan’s ISI are also being probed. Searches continue as agencies hunt additional members of the network.
