All side windows can be opened or closed from the driver’s side control panel. To open a window, push down on the appropriate switch. To close, pull it up. To stop the opening or closing at any point, simply let up on the switch. Each passenger side window has its own control switch, located on the door side panel. To open the driver’s side automatic window, push the switch down completely and release for the window to fully open. Pull the switch up to the highest position, then release and the window will fully close. To stop the opening or closing at any point, push or pull the switch in the opposite direction. If the automatic closing function for the driver’s power window switch does not operate properly, perform the following procedure to initialize the power window switch: 1. Place the ignition switch in the ON position and close the door. 2. Press and hold the driver’s window switch down until the window opens completely. 3. Release the switch. 4. Pull and hold the driver’s window switch up to close the window and then continue to hold the window switch in the up position for 3 seconds after the window glass has reached the full close position. It is necessary for this entire step to be completed with one continuous pull of the window switch. 5. Release the switch. Initialization is now complete. The automatic operation for the driver’s power window switch should now operate. If the power window automatic function does not operate properly after performing the procedure, it is recommended you visit a Nissan dealer. No initialization is required for any of the other window switches. The Power Window Lockout feature prevents passengers such as small children from accidentally opening windows. When the WINDOW LOCK button is depressed, only the driver’s side window can be opened or closed. Press the button again to cancel the window lock feature. When the ignition is turned OFF, power to the windows continues for a period of time. If either front door is opened within this period of time, power to the windows is cancelled.
