Full step by step process for a Head Gasket replacement. This is for an Australian Holden Cruze (known as a Chevy Cruze in other locations) with the 1.8 F18D4 engine. This engine had coolant in the oil, was pressurising the coolant system and had a misfire. It was checked for CO2 in the cooling system to confirm a head gasket issue. If you are experiencing overheating it may not be a head gasket. Check all other possibilities first. Some aspects may vary in different countries. This is the process that I used.
