The Woodcreek Middle School Bel Canto Chorus (2023–2024, Varsity Treble), under the direction of Phil O’Neal with assistant director Colleen Ryan, presents “Children, Go Where I Send Thee” (SSA) at the WMS Choral Department 2024 Spring UIL Concert, held at The Luke Church in Humble, TX. This spirited Gospel arrangement, composed by Kevin Johnson, featured outstanding student & professional musician contributions: 🎤 Spoken Word – Brielle Francis 🎤 Soloist – Audrey Chambers 🎹 Piano – Dr. Eduard Gavril 🥁 Percussion – Carlos Oseguera & Henry Larson (courtesy of the WMS Band program) As part of the UIL Spring Concert tradition, the WMS Choral Department highlights Gospel music annually, celebrating faith, talent, and the joy of music-making.
