At that moment, Praljak stands up, looks directly at the courtroom, and says: “Slobodan Praljak is not a war criminal.” Then he takes out a small vial and drinks its contents in front of the entire world. A few seconds later, he collapses. The court halts, panic ensues, and the session is suspended. It was later revealed that the vial contained cyanide. This event shook the world and became one of the most shocking moments in the history of international justice.
