Cannabidivarin, or CBDV, is another name used to refer to one of the cannabinoids in the class of Cannabidiols, known as Cannabidivarin. The difference is found on its side chain, being short of two methyl (CH2) groups. The two compounds have demonstrated anticonvulsant activity both in animal and human models and are demonstrating promising clinical trial results, especially in the field of autism spectrum disorder.
