In this video, I will take you through a detailed process of crafting Axles and Rims (Gardan and Pelek) for a miniature car, made entirely from beautiful Teak Wood (Kayu Jati). This isn't just about creating an ornament; it's about engineering components with functional detail! The Main Challenge: Achieving high precision. 🛠️ The Process I Used: Basic Shaping: I start by using a Simple Wood Lathe for manual shaping of the basic profile for the axles and rims. This requires careful hand-eye coordination and manual skill. Accurate Precision: For the critical bolt holes, center bore, and detailed rim ornaments, I switch over to a CNC Machine. Using the CNC ensures that every single bolt hole has the exact spacing and depth, providing superb precision that is incredibly difficult to achieve with manual turning.
