Sonic Generations - Can't Touch This Achievement Guide

Aura here with an achievement guide for the 'Can't Touch This' achievement in Sonic Generations. The achievement states that you can't get hit during the fight, however numerous people have been able to get away with being hit by the debris. I'd suggest still trying to avoid everything but specifically avoid Time eater and his attacks if you want to have the best shot at this achievement. Anyway, a couple of things I'd recommend: Learn Time Eater's moves and his patterns. For example, when he uses time stop immediately after he's going to use the beam attack so make sure you switch to the 2D plane to avoid it. Aside from dodging attacks, don't bother with 2D. It's really not going to help you or make it any easier for you. If anything, it's harder to dodge Time Eater's attacks. Hold boost the entire time, don't spam it, and align yourself in the middle to the Time Eater's core. Staying in the centre of the tube lets you move faster for some reason so take advantage of it to close in quicker. Spam A for quick debris destruction. Just tapping the A button will make Classic Super Sonic whiz around much more effectively than holding it down. Besides those things there's not much else to say. The fight plays out remarkably similar each time so if you do a practice run and learn every pattern it's pretty easy to not get hit on a successive attempt.
