We start off our Roland video series with the new Roland VAD 506 electronic drum kit, that features real acoustic shell sizes (10,12,14,20) to begin with. The new PDA-100, PDA-120 and PDA-140F tom pads are equipped with a brand new 3 sensor trigger system, that delivers an authetic feel without any "hot spotting" in the center of the head. The VAD506 kit comes with the new TD-27 sound module, that combines sounds/features of the TD-17 and TD-50. It fills the gap between both models and replaces its predecessor the TD-25 as the new Roland "middle class" sound module. The TD-27 is compatible with Roland´s digital pads, so the new VAD kits are equipped with a CY-18DR digital ride, a PD-140DS digital snare, as well as two brand new non-digital e-cymbal models in 14" & 16" inch size (CY-14C-T and CY-16R-T).
