Davinci Resolve - How to Use HDRI Images as a 360 Background Video

Use HDRI Images in Davinci Resolve to create a 360 background scene. I show how to convert the HDR file to an EXR file that works great in Davinci Resolve. Using the EXR file, I create a 3D sphere and apply the HDRI image. By using a 3D camera, I show how to make the HDRI image become a 3D scene in Resolve. The camera can be animated 360 degrees because the HDRI image surrounds the 3D space. Using an HDRI Image is very convenient for scenes and for lighting. The HDRI image can also be used as a reflection map or to provide light to a 3D scene. in the video I show a great place to get free HDRI images that are also royalty free. These HDRI maps are very high quality, up to 19K textures. They stitched images together to create the HDRI images. If you have a Instra360 camera or a GoPro Max, this is a great way to create a 360 image in Davinci Resolve.
