Let’s keep it short: Is the extra cost for the semi-active suspension worth it? Nope. In my opinion, the well-tuned standard suspension is more than sufficient. The semi-active, electronically adjustable suspension might only appeal to true enthusiasts who want to squeeze out the last bit of sportiness or comfort in every situation. Don’t get me wrong — it works really well and smooths out all bumps with stoic calm, as seen in the video. The Multi stays steadily on course. However, the standard suspension probably doesn’t perform much worse in this regard. I can only recommend trying both versions and then deciding whether it's worth it to you. Of course, if you can’t live without that olive-tinted green, you’ll have to go for the S. And if money is no object, you should also take a look at the V4 S—its only real downside is that it's significantly heavier (and consumes more fuel). But you won't notice that while riding.
