Taking the proper care of yourself and your implants after surgery contributes to the best results for your breast augmentation procedure. Avoid lying on your stomach to prevent pulling the incisions. 3) It is possible to shower two days after surgery and it is ok to lift your arms above your shoulder level to wash your hair. 4) You will need plenty of rest the first few days so take a week off from work. If your job involves heavy lifting or physical activity, consider taking more time. Don’t lift anything over five to ten pounds. 5) Avoid heavy cardio workouts and upper body exercises for at least six weeks and participate only after approval from your surgeon. 6) Abstain from drinking alcohol until your doctor says you can stop with pain medications. 7) Be sure to follow all your doctor’s instructions for your post surgical care.
