Catch this vibe. 🌵✨ Skipping the Grand Canyon and tourist traps, here's 7 Arizona places that are visit worthy. This week's video (Episode 7) is a little different than what I usually publish. There isn't as much driving; instead, I'm sharing more relaxing footage and the best places in Arizona to visit. What’s inside your escape: This isn't just a list of places; it is a full visual immersion into the Southwest designed for deep chill. Back in February 2023, I flew from Madison, Wisconsin to Phoenix and drove south to Tucson to meet my mom for her winter "snowbunny" getaway. We stayed at the Varsity Clubs of America Suites and used it as our base to explore the massive scale of Sabino Canyon and both the East and West sides of the Saguaro National Parks. Mom and I also took a day trip down to Tubac, a small art town near the Mexico border. We shopped at galleries, bought some amazing Mexican tiles, and just relaxed at a small cafe listening to an acoustic musician play guitar. From there, we drove north to Sedona and checked into the Sedona Summit Hilton Vacation Club. Our room had a back porch with an active bird feeder and the sunrise and sunset views of the red rocks were just fire! We explored the Palatki Heritage site and took a 4x4 off-road Pink Jeep Tour up the Schnebly Hill trail where I got some incredible drone footage of the overlooks. We wrapped up the trip soaking in the water sounds at different access spots along Oak Creek, like Grasshopper Point and River Gorge, before driving back to Phoenix for my flight home to Madison.
