How AMT Saved Star Trek

By now you’ve probably heard how a letter-writing campaign saved Star Trek from cancellation in 1968. But what if I told you that halfway into the production of season 1 something else saved Star Trek…well, sort of. Today we’re going to look back at the design of the Galileo shuttlecraft, and how there wouldn’t even be one if it wasn’t for AMT’s interest in producing a new model kit in the first place.
