LIGHTNING BOLT - DREAM GENIE ROCK BAND 4 PRO DRUMS FC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Second time actually using the editing software, sorry if it's bad) Without any doubt this is my best pro drums fc, and this only took 2 tries on the day of the run! shoutout to the goats ‪@nukeissa‬, ‪@Malyyzero‬, ‪@senikz7815‬, ‪@hockeypro11‬, ‪@DjxRB‬ and alot of other people especially in the Milohax server for congratulating me with discord reactions aswell as just kind words. This is probably very controversial but this is for sure my favourite song on Rock Band 4 Disc, and has been a dream fc of mine ever since I first heard it. The introduction was my sibling going "wow bro this song is so hard bro you gotta try it bro" (something like that) it was like 2022 or something and I couldnt even pass it on hard. The aura this song had and still has is insane and it went STRAIGHT into my spotify playlist. Now the hardest part of this grind was probably the nerves and just trying to deal with the weird as fuck delay this game has, it felt like I was going insane because I had to play like 2 seconds early at all times for the notes to actually line up with the strikeline. This is a problem with like every game on console but for some reason in this game in specific it's amplified by like a hundred for me. For alot of these sections you can become extremely consistent with just alot of practice (this goes for every song in the game tbh) but if you want to know the methods I used during the "jam" sections at 3:40 and the significantly harder one at 5:14, I pretty much just copied Lukey2Jedi's method which he used in his picture in picture video. (   • Dream Genie by Lightning Bolt | Rock Band ...  ) But for sure the hardest part for me to learn was definitely the fill that repeats quite a bit throughout the song at 3:11, 3:27, 4:25, 4:35 and ESPECIALLY the one at 4:54. Now I see alot of people just double stroke with the left hand to hit the yellow notes and then hit the blue notes with their right hand, but I was EXTREMELY inconsistent at doing this so I came up with my own method which involved moving my left hand all the way over to blue and keeping my righthand on yellow. This most likely made no sense to read but thats how I did it. The second biggest hurdle was probably the sheer amount of stamina you need in your body to fc this, thankfully the solution to this was having two cups of coffee. The entire outro left me shaking so fucking much, there were parts where I had to remind my foot to actually move which like never happens and my brain was thinking of so many things at once. My tips to deal with the nerves is to start trying to jam along to the song instead of hyperfocusing on "oh my god im gonna miss oh my god im gonna fucking miss" this can be done by hitting the pads harder or singing along and stuff. This is what I did near the end and thankfully it worked. Now some of you may be wondering if I would be willing to take on full series, and to that I say most likely. I'm gonna take a lengthy break from beast and the harlot because of two post drum solo chokes in the exact same place. And for the other hardest song Homecoming (banger) I need a bit more stamina in my hands aswell as just more patience, I really do not want to get tired of that song since I love it so much. I would also love to have a bunch of youtube playlists with all the on-disc fcs ready to watch because I think that would be awesome..
