Lauren Sutherland is an associate director of admissions for the Daytime MBA program at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She has been at Fuqua for 5 years and has managed admitted student events, the waitlist process, and the recruitment of students from the Northeastern part of the United States and Latin America. Prior to Fuqua, she was a Teach for America corps member in Eastern North Carolina, where she taught middle school special education for 4 years. Lauren earned her BBA in Process Management and Consulting from the College of William and Mary and later completed a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from North Carolina State University, where she earned a graduate certificate in Counseling. When she isn’t recruiting students for Fuqua, Lauren enjoys traveling with her partner and two daughters and exploring the always-growing restaurant scene of Durham, NC!
