Cito Javis – Fighting Soldier Rainbow Promotions Some of you might recognise the name Cito Jarvis from the amazing Soundway soca compilation which features another track from this record ‘Fighting Soldier’. Both are equally astounding pieces of soca magic that hail from the Virgin Islands. The lyrics and vocals are dramatic and impactful, and are joined by excellent danceable drums typified by the genre. The long sax solo towards the end is one of the best we’ve heard. There was a vocal bridge that slightly brought the energy down so this has been removed in what is a very subtle / minimal edit. Incredible rare, we hope you enjoy this soca holy grail. Shoutout to Pieter Driver who gave JOSH FB the tip about this one when showing his copy of the ‘wounded solider’ maxi single.
