After some recent renovations, we finally returned with the family to reconnect with Westwinds. This beach house was built by Poppy (Rupert) Clarke in the early ’90s, and over the years — through family changes and a bit of neglect — it had slowly lost some of its sparkle. Led by Alex, we’ve been able to breathe new life into this special place and be reminded why it means so much to us. Poppy always knew how important a place like this is for a family — a connection to land, to each other, to love and beauty. Coming back here together has reminded us that Westwinds isn’t just a house, it’s a home full of memories, stories, and the simple joy of being together by the sea. Soon, we’ll be opening our special place to public bookings so others can experience a little of what makes Westwinds so meaningful to our family.
