Are you seeing an error message on your device manager in your windows "windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems" ? It's really easy to fix it. You can fix it without update and restart. Go to that device in device manager and uninstall it (Don't delete it, uncheck the box if asked) now that device is removed. Go back to device manager and right click there scan for hardware changes until that removed device is back. If that device is not back, right click again and scan for hardware changes.
