The seaside health resort of Bansin is surrounded by lots of water and forest. In the north the Baltic Sea, in the east the Schloonsee and in the west an extensive mixed beech forest, the smallest and youngest of the three imperial baths is idyllically embedded. The first bathers were not welcomed here until 1897. Right from the start, Bansin was designed as a seaside resort, and that with care, because the villas on Bergstraße were built in gaps so that the residents in the second row could also enjoy the sea view. Even today, the villas from the late 19th and early 20th centuries determine the townscape and that of the promenade. Whether made of stone or wood, these houses have a soul and their splendor attracts thousands of tourists every year.
