Inline skating in the infamous Tenderloin district of San Francisco

I decided to take on the Tenderloin district in San Francisco. It is fair to say that this district has a strong and unique identity. But at the same time it is currently also one of the most dangerous areas in SF and one city ambassador I talked to said he would discourage people from going there. I kept a low profile and discovered not only the problems of the area but also its rich cultural and historical highlights. I will highlight a few (Transgender District, Little Saigon, first X-Rated movie premiere, murals, SRO: single-room occupancy residential hotels). This is most definitely an area with a story to tell! Bonus: I taped a (unstaged! 😊) fall, the only fall in 3 weeks of California.
