Demolition of Wyndford Flats Glasgow - View from Knightswood high rise

A view of the explosive demolition of three out of the four Wyndford Flats in Maryhill, Glasgow on March 23rd 2025. Built on the site that had previously been Glasgow city barracks the tower blocks which could house 600 will be replaced with a new offering of just over 300 rentals. The towers, erected in the 1960s, were deemed unfit for use despite a long waiting list for Wheatley Homes who operated the accommodation. Two cameras captured the demolition at midday from the top of 115 Kirkton Avenue in Knightswood.
