if theres a pause its because of the cat being a menace tb enabled playing more oldtide, and i found that in groups my competence at holding a frontline solo was really bad, but was fine if i had a second person that i could lean on a bit for frontline stability. i would get really pressured by elites, and take a lot of unnecessary damage. i found in particular my ability to play sott, though a class i never usually played, was particularly bad. so i spent a some time to get it done. some of the runs i tried to experiment with other attack patterns, eg light spam with bc at the end, because it had the theoretical highest dps, but in practice it fell ~15% short of H - L or L - L - BC, if i had to guess it would be because of bleed being a fairly relevant amount of damage, which i tried to spread out as much as possible on horde units to maximize it. as much as i think im just bad, i think there were a lot of really tough difficulty spikes with multiple disablers where it felt like i did a really good job handling them. i think overall it helped a lot in getting a little less rusty at the game. im not entirely sure if the difficulty of this was strictly due to being bad, or if it was partially because sott isnt a great solo career like whc would be with its higher dps, and better time dealing with mass elite. i was bordering on instantly /restarting the moment a horde spawned with the troll, but im happy i didnt because it wasnt that bad and it makes for a slightly funnier video. i gave up on preventing his regen after a while, and occasionally i forgot to minmax barrage stacks while 1v1ing troll, but it was overall pretty fine. i think chaos spawn would have been a much more tedious fight, even if the boss is less annoying. it would have just been much less dps because im much more rusty and would only go for "safe" attacks
