2025American Piano Awards Elliot Wuu in Concert Presented by the National Bank of Indianapolis January 26, 2025 | 3:30pm Indiana History Center Elliot Wuu, 24, is a Young Steinway Artist, received the 2018 Gilmore Young Artist award, and is a winner of the Salon de Virtuosi 2021 Career Grant. His solo program contrasts the evocative impressionism of Debussy’s Suite Bergamasque with Schubert’s Romantic “Wanderer” Fantasie. Born in 1999 in Fremont, CA, Elliot began piano at age six and made his debut at age 16 with the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra playing Rachmaninoff’s “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.” Elliot currently resides in New York City, where he recently finished his BM and MM degrees at The Juilliard School. ~ Program ~ Claude Debussy | Suite Bergamasque I.
