A Brief History Of The Calder Valley Class 110 DMUs.

Hello 👋🏻 In this video we take a look at a diesel multiple unit that operated in the Lancashire and Yorkshire area for many years. It was also immortalised in 'oo' gauge by Hornby. This is of course the Calder Valley Units which would become the Class 110 DMUs. These diesel trains were plagued by fires early in their lives too but despite this went on to have a fairly long life - many surviving into the late 1980's. Do you remember these British Rail DMUs?
