Completed on 8th of March on my livestream   / radgceast   timed using in game time (IGT). Ran on the PC version. This speedrun went through many different iterations. It started off with no saves and no bonus weapon then I confirmed there is no penalty for bonus weapons use so chainsaw strats were used. Then I found (with some help from a related chat suggestion) that any hyperspray can be used in the bug room for faster melee kills than handgun spawning. Next it transpired on the PC version you can save as many times as you like and still get 10 stars which allows for a bunch of PC exclusive glitches. No save is loaded as I wanted to keep this single segment mind you. Finally it turned out that the green insta-kill hyperspray can count as a fighting kill or a shooting kill depending on the enemy it is used on. Unfortunately it doesn't always register a kill at all. This relegates SH2 10 star into a dice roll which is why I didn't complete that many runs.
