Most Teams of 2 Can’t Finish Britain’s Biggest Afternoon Tea Challenge, so I Tried by Myself!!

A&Z #1116 - Professional eater Randy Santel vs Song Bird Cafe's British "Afternoon Tea for Two" Food Challenge hosted by Song Bird Café-Bar located in downtown Elland, West Yorkshire, England of the United Kingdom!! After finishing up our 3-week Scotland Tour, ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I spent 4 weeks (1 month) exploring most of the major cities and areas in the northern half of England. During our travels, I attempted 18 English man vs food restaurant challenges. For British food eating challenge event #8, our friends Adam ‪@Beardmeatsfood‬ and Mrs. Beard picked us up and we headed to Song Bird Café-Bar in Elland, West Yorkshire, England, UK so that Katina and I could each take on their British "Afternoon Tea for Two" Food Challenge individually by ourselves, even though it's billed as Great Britain's biggest afternoon tea eating challenge and it is meant for teams of 2 brave people to finish within the 1 hour time limit. Most teams of 2 people actually fail this challenge, so I knew it would be a tough one!! I was trying to win my £30 English meal free plus a sweet gold medal and spot on the Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with Song Bird Café-Bar for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Note: this video was filmed well beforehand in September 2022. Adam "Beard Meats Food" Moran made this challenge popular by completing it all by himself, even though it is meant to be a team food challenge with a 1 hour time limit to finish everything. There are three plates stacked and served to your table using a fancy Afternoon Tea serving rack. The bottom plate has 5 full cold-cut sandwiches sliced into halves. There is an egg salad sandwich plus a grated cheese sandwich along with a ham sandwich, roast beef sandwich, and tuna salad sandwich. The middle plate includes creamy British coleslaw, 2 pork pie pastries, and lots of healthy vegetables served as a salad. The top plate features all of the desserts, meant for 2 people - 2 slices of red velvet cake, 2 big slices of chocolate cake, 2 Bakewell Tarts, 2 clotted cream-filled scones, and some healthy pieces of fruit - grapes and strawberry slices. Last but not least, each person must finish a cup of coffee or afternoon tea. The glass of Prosecco I added to my challenge was just optional. Two people have 1 hour to finish everything, but one brave person can attempt the challenge solo like Adam, Katina, and I each did. Solo champions and winning teams earn the £30 afternoon tea meal free plus gold medals proclaiming their domination!!
