In this video I make 10 leather pocket sheaths by hand for my Meridian bird and trout knives (https://northedgetools.com/products/m.... I am self taught in leatherwork and have picked up tips here and there from other makers and leatherworkers. If you have any suggestions on how to improve my processes and make things faster I'd appreciate it! These sheaths are my favorite way to carry a fixed blade knife. It allows you to carry it deeper in the pocket than kydex and makes for an easy retrieval and replacement when you need your knife one handed, like breaking down boxes or something similar. I wet form the sheaths to my knives to adjust the retention to my liking. I purchased the clips for these sheaths from Double X Knives.
