Mit ihrem neuen Album TITANOMACHIE verleihen die vier Metaller der griechischen Mythologie ein neues Kapitel, das sich vollumfänglich den Titanen widmet. Kronos, Gyges, Lapetos & Co. bringen Chaos über alles, was ihren Weg kreuzt. Götter sterben, der Olymp fällt, ein frohes Ende ist weder in Sicht noch je der Plan. Das gesamte Konzept des Albums ist eine stimmige Geschichte rund um die Rache und den Zerfall der Titanen, die sogar als Kurzgeschichte und Hörbuch produziert wurde. Ob Hades Gerechtigkeit findet, die Zyklopenkinder die Lösung sein könnten und was die Chimäre mit Zeus’ Ableben zu tun hat, sind Dinge, die man nur selbst herausfinden kann. Begleitend zur Veröffentlichung erscheint die Geschichte als bebilderte Kurzgeschichte in Form eines streng limitierten Artbooks und als Hörbuch. Mit harten Gitarrenriffs, aggressiven Drums und weitläufigem Soundtrack-Ambient überzeugen Devil-M mit einem abwechslungsreichen Album, weit weg vom typischen Deutschrock oder der Neuen Deutschen Härte. Eben Industrial Metal, wie er zu klingen hat. Dazu verhalfen Aggrotech-Altmeister Elmar Schmidt von Centhron (Mixing) und Kristof Bathory von Dawn of Ashes (Mastering) zum finalen Ergebnis. Die erste Single „Komplex“ macht unmissverständlich klar: Hier wird nichts in Watte gepackt. Stattdessen treffen brachiale Noise-Samples auf die markanten Screams von Frontmann Astharat und sorgen für ein dichtes Klanggewitter wie direkt vonHades. Und nachdem Devil-M ihre gemeinsame Tour mit den Industrial-Legenden Psyclon Nine im Vorjahr absolviert haben, werden weitere Konzerte 2026 folgen. ------------------------------------------------- ENGLISH PROMO After five years, the German industrial metal quartet Devil-M returns. Whether Hades finds justice, whether the Cyclopean children might be the key, and what the Chimera has to do with Zeus’ demise—these are mysteries one must uncover for themselves. To accompany the release, the tale will appear as an illustrated short story in the form of a strictly limited artbook, as well as an audiobook. With crushing guitar riffs, aggressive drums, and expansive soundtrack-style ambience, Devil-M deliver a diverse album far removed from typical Deutschrock or Neue Deutsche Härte. This is industrial metal as it’s meant to sound. Veteran Aggrotech mastermind Elmar Schmidt of Centhron (mixing) and Kristof Bathory of Dawn of Ashes (mastering) helped bring the album to its final form. The first single, “Komplex,” makes it unmistakably clear: nothing here is wrapped in cotton wool. Instead, brutal noise samples collide with frontman Astharat’s distinctive screams, creating a dense sonic thunderstorm straight from Hades.
